INSPIRATION: With its branches stretching out over all of the nine realms, Yggdrasil is considered to be the cosmic thread, holding everything together, and observer of all creation. This sacred ash tree conveyed the destiny of the whole cosmos. Taking this in mind, I developed an aroma that can be best described as something different than the "woodsy and earthy" scents you find in most beard oil. After literally half a year of tossing blends, in search of what the Tree of Life should smell like, it's finally here. Yggdrasil is the ultimate wet, misty forest blend. This has a delicacy to it to a degree though, but smooth, inviting, and ever-so-slightly sweet. With the scents of tall evergreen trees, subtle hints of agarwood, the smell of rain (petrichor) and melting snow, and subtle floral notes, this is a unique blend. If you are looking for a scent not completely overwhelming in masculinity, but rather something almost druidic, balanced, blended to perfection, and something that you can close your eyes to and get taken away like leaves in the wind, the smell of the fog rolling through the evergreens, or the deep earthy aroma in the wilderness after a rain, this would be your blend. Due to its complexity though, this aroma is incredibly hard to describe, just like how it would be seeing Yggdrasil for the first time if mankind could actually see it.
